SUMMER PROGRAMS
As a fully-funded scholar, I was privileged to be part of the inaugural Lodha Genius Programme (LGP) at Ashoka University. In May-June 2023, I delved into Astronomy and Microscopy. Under the mentorship of Professors Anantharaman S.V. and Sushan Konar, I explored astrophysics, applying concepts to analyze science fiction. Concurrently, with Zeiss experts Professors Manoj Mathew and Ashish Pandey, I gained hands-on experience in advanced microscopy, exploring the intersection of physics, biology, and engineering. My strong performance earned me a ₹5000 book voucher.
From August 2023 to April 2025, I advanced my mathematical studies under the guidance of Professors Amitabha Tripathi, Sagar Shrivastava, Gaurav Bhatnagar, and Manjil Saikia. I specialized in Mathematics Problem Solving, Combinatorics, and Elementary Number Theory, building on previous work in graph theory, abstract algebra, and linear algebra. My dedication led to my selection for the European Mathematical Tournament (ETeam) 2025 in Lyon, France. In July, our six-member team represented India, fully sponsored by the Lodha Philanthropy Foundation.
I was part of the Raising a Mathematician - Training Program 2022, in the senior batch. The program is a fully funded and free program conducted by RAM (Raising a Mathematician). Raising A Mathematician Foundation (RAM) has been running a highly sought-out, free 1-week residential math camp, for more than a 100 kids between the ages of 13 to 15, across India called 'Raising A Mathematician Training Program' (RAM TP). The participants get exposed to a wide spectrum of topics in Mathematics and the sessions are oriented towards building a research mentality in students. I studied Number Theory, Geometry and Combinatorics in the program.
I was a student of MathPath 2021, a highly selective math summer program for mathematically gifted children. Given a 40% scholarship tuition, I spent four weeks in the program doing advanced problem solving, trigonometry, Frobenius numbers and game theory concepts. It was an absolute delight to spend my summer holidays doing some outstanding math!
Epsilon India is for the extraordinary children who not only are exceptionally or profoundly gifted but who also love Mathematics. The curriculum and pedagogy in most schools do not serve these outliers. The curriculum includes Number Theory, Methods of Proof, Sets and Functions, Algebraic Curves, Combinatorics, Geometry, Set Theory and much more. I was part of the first cohort of Epsilon India, in the seniors batch for the program and I was awarded “Certificate of Appreciation” for excelling in the program.
