India has triumphantly secured the second position at the esteemed ETEAM Olympiad 2025, which took place in Lyon from July 6–12. Great high school talent from all over the world came together for this elite international competition in mathematical research.
The Indian team, which included captain Madhur Choudhary, Shresht Bhat, Anshveer Bindra, Adhiraj Anand, Vamika Singhal, and Vedansh Saha, distinguished themselves with their outstanding research presentations, teamwork, and analytical prowess. An international panel of distinguished researchers assessed their performance.
In recognition of their exceptional representation on the international scene, the team was welcomed back to India by Prof. K. Vijay Raghavan, Chair of the Science Advisory Council at Ashoka University, and H.E. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India.
France, which is home to 13 Fields Medalists, fosters academic excellence and fosters international cooperation by inspiring young minds through programs like Classes Internationales. Another significant event in the developing educational relationship between France and India is the ETEAM Olympiad.
